Relax in the stunning infinity pool with attached sunken seating area with uninterrupted views over the olive groves and the Ionian. The villa has multiple terraces all with those amazing views. You can relax around the pool on sun loungers or large sofa’s alternatively, watch a film or some sport in the outdoor cinema, play boules or pool on the lower terrace or just wonder through the surrounding terraced olive groves.
The swimming pool...
Stunning infinity pool (12x5m) makes the most of the views across to Albania, with built in steps and submerged seating area. The pool can be heated upon request (at an additional cost). The pool terrace has 8 sun loungers with umbrellas and tables an outdoor shower and a large shaded sofa area for lounging. There is an outdoor kitchen with a charcoal BBQ, sink and fridge. Stairs lead from the pool down to the boules court and pool table.
The Gardens and patios...
An automatic gate controlled by a fob or entry system leads up a short driveway to the rear of the villa with parking for up to 6 cars. The house is surrounded by terraced gardens planted with olive trees, bougainvillaea, rosemary, lavender, wisteria and grasses. A partially covered outdoor dining area blends seamlessly from the sitting room, steps (and a wheelchair accessible path) lead down to the pool area and a small adjoining terrace with two covered day beds, perfect for a date with a good book or an afternoon snooze. A large balcony above the pool offers sensational views and extensive seating for evening drinks and can be accessed via the pool area or the first floor bedroom.
Al Fresco Dining...
The sitting room leads directly out to the dining terrace which is partially covered for those who prefer the shade. Large table and comfortable seating for 10, a perfect place to spend a long lunch or dinner with the channel between Corfu and Albania providing a stunning ever changing backdrop and for those who are nautical, a pair of authentic Cold War binoculars to get a closer look!
Boules & Pool Table
Just below the swimming pool overlooking the gardens, Villa Femos has a large Boules Court with a full set of Boules, scoring board and rakes to make sure that you have the perfect competition. At one end we have a set of three chairs where you can watch and enjoy your drinks or just relax. On this lower terrace we have a Pool table surrounded by Cyprus trees and lavender.
